The dosing pump is a pump that forces the liquid out of the outlet through forced pressure.
A dosing pump is generally a single membrane pump (see membrane pump) that is driven by an E-motor via a transmission. The dosage can generally be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the piston rod stroke, there are also versions that work with a frequency converter that changes the speed of the E-motor and thus the frequency of the number of strokes per minute of the dosing pump.
Dosing pumps are generally used for dosing liquids/chemicals in a process.
Dosing pumps are available in various sizes and types, the choice depends on the medium to be pumped, the pressure and capacity.
